Back to school time for children and adults! We’re here to tell you the best way to cope with it

¡Vuelta al cole para mayores y niños! Te contamos la mejor manera de llevarla

The alarm clock’s ringing. Again. Just 5 more minutes. It rings again. Get up! Get up! Going back to school and getting back into routine is finally upon us. September has arrived and with it once more come timetables, work and school. And this can be an uphill struggle for adults as well as children, because up until now there were no alarm clocks ringing, only dips in the pool, afternoon naps and meals on terraces that we all like so much.

But the reality is that you have to go back and that’s why we are helping you to get back into your routine this September with some small tips that will be great for the whole family.

Take care of your post-summer diet.

Food is what gives us energy, it is our engine, and that is why it is so important to be mindful of it. In September it is still hot so we recommend that the whole family eat the recommended 5 pieces of fruit. They are not only a source of hydration, but vitamins too, to help us get the best out of ourselves, both at work and at school. We shouldn’t forget pulses either, which we can add to salads to give them a colourful touch that will encourage children to eat them without complaining. And if we snack between meals, try something healthy and light, like your favourite Velarte breadsticks.

Keep up the family activities.

Settling back into your routine doesn’t have to mean stopping having a good time. In fact it’s quite the contrary, it is the opportunity to make the most of your free time with your family: afternoons at the cinema, playing in the park, going to the theatre or anything else you like.

Re-introduce sport even after the summer.

One of the activities you can do with your family is sport. Weekends are ideal for cycling or hiking breaks, staying in touch with nature and reintroducing healthy habits in a fun way. It is also good, to make the return to routine more bearable, to practice your favourite sport for a little while every week, meet new people and enjoy a personal activity.

Think of new goals and projects.

Go back to work and school with a new and renewed goal, whether it’s learning a new language, doing more activities with colleagues outside the office, or learning something brand new that has nothing to do with what we do every day. Setting a new objective or goal enthuses us and gives us great personal satisfaction when we achieve it.

At Velarte we wish you and your family all the best in getting back to your routines. We hope that your September is filled with new dreams and expectations and that you enjoy them together. We hope to stay alongside you in this fresh start on a break, as a snack or in your lunchbox, which will be the envy of your co-workers, with the Velarte product that you love the most.
